A personal experience of an @One Journey.

A description of an @One Journey using the @One-Releasing method of enquiry.
What follows is a personal account that describes one particular session and some of the feelings and emotions that arose.
I was guided by my Releasing guide to a relaxed state, which is a very light trance. When my body relaxed, my attention withdrew from outer stimulation to my inner ‘world’ behind my eyes.
I became aware of a point of consciousness within the body, beyond my distracting thoughts. My conscious awareness felt comfortable at my heart area. My guide suggested that I let go of any striving and become aware of my breathing. I focused on the breath entering my nostrils and exhaling. My guide suggested that I remain aware and not try to change my breathing pattern just allow my breath to be natural. I did this and began to feel comfortable ‘in my body’ and experienced a sense of inner awareness.
She explained that this state of relaxation is a foundation from which I may initiate necessary changes in my negative habitual thinking and feeling which will lead to real healing, peace and acceptance in my life experience.In this deeply relaxed state, you may connect with your inner wisdom as you have momentarily stilled the mind’s activity and activated your inner listening.
I allowed the information to sink in and the guide gave me space to become accustomed to this deep space.
She asked me if I would like to journey to a deeper level. I felt comfortable and safe enough to continue. She introduced guided imagery and I visualised 5 steps leading to an inner sanctuary of my own creation. I found this intriguing and it seemed to me that I entered a sanctuary that was at once sacred and familiar. She explained that our ability to imagine holds tremendous potential for healing and understanding on a non-linear level. This process seemed like a lucid dream. The purpose being to connect with the wisdom within that may create a feeling quality that awakens a memory of our connection with a compassionate powerful presence within.
Once I entered this space even though feelings of apprehension disturbed me at first, I relaxed into the imagery and received insights that were affirming and symbolic. My guide explained that the ‘right-brain’ communicated through imagery. I remained undisturbed in that state for a while.
It was then time for the next step. She guided me further inviting me to engage with my inner-knowing and ask my ‘mind’ to recall that memory/situation when I first experienced my present pain and emotions. Unexpectedly a memory came into my mind. I reacted at first saying “I thought I had dealt with that!” she gently guided me saying, “ Yes, you might have dealt with the issue on a superficial level using logic and coping strategies, but right now this issue is coming up to be healed on a deeper level of understanding.”
I felt that I was my 3-year-old self, small, hurt and helpless. I recognised that I felt that way whenever I had to confront anyone that I perceived as more powerful than myself. With the assistance of my guide we released the shock, confusion, fear and helplessness for my 3-year-old self. I immediately began to feel a huge burden leave my solar plexus.
My guide asked me to place my hands on my area of stress or pain. She asked me to describe the pain and the feeling. She instructed me to gently allow the pain to soften and find a way out of the body. I was surprised to feel a sense of calm return to my body and mind.
My guide allowed me to integrate the release and we did some deeper clearing and healing regarding the intricate details of the event until I made an inner shift of perception and could see the situation in a new light.
