I am light personified
As a living breathing beauty,
A pearl of a girl!
Speaking indecipherable
Platitudes,
Preludes to songs of wisdom,
Whispers of angelic voices
In the restless night,
Give wings to my flight.
Oh! Heavenly,& heavy
With silence
Morning uncurls.
Call of the Sacred Ibis
Interrupts my sleep,
Calling me to attention.
Attend to this day, Wench,
As you quest to quench
the unquenchable [...]

Wildish, sixties’ woman

I feel the deep pulse of the wildish woman in me,
That willful, vibrant, fearless one.
The one who dances naked in the moonlight,
And lets go of all the cannots.
It seems sad to me that the wild one emerges when the body is bent with age
And ready to crack up any moment. Perhaps it is the breaking [...]
